nice junior suite stay
spacious suite luxury bathroom central location convenient walk
the junior suite located on the sixth floor was spacious. its bathroom included luxury features and ample space. the hotel's proximity allowed easy access to a show i wanted to see, it was a convenient fifteen minute walk.
It wasn't immediately clear how to do this online! i had to call the front desk. It was sorted eventually.

the hotel boasts a small gym, ensuring guests can maintain their fitness routines. penhaligon soap was provided in my room. i also noticed the beautiful architecture throughout the building.

the reception staff was very cute upon arrival. ben, the bar manager, was also very helpful and friendly. generally, the staff i encountered seemed well trained and eager to assist with any request.

the hotel is centrally located near many attractions, i could walk easily to the utility arena. it is situated opposite st philip's cathedral, the view was quite nice. it was indeed a great place!

refined grandeur
lovely staff excellent selection
The staff members were lovely, offering assistance with genuine smiles (a rare find, indeed!). the food presented was good. My room also had an excellent selection of teas and coffee, i must say. the ambiance in the rooms struck a balance between victorian elegance and contemporary design.
the second night came without fresh tea and coffee in my room, which i found somewhat disappointing, especially considering the morning brew is a small joy. a minor detail, certainly, but one worth addressing for a seamless experience.

their attention to detail ensured a smooth stay, assisting with requests promptly and efficiently. this level of service definitely added to my overall experience.

great location easy access tea making
Location was great with easy access to nearby carparks. I got a discount on the B4 carpark. The superior room had a large hall for tea-making and storing my suitcase. It was easy to walk to the city centre for shopping and to the jewelry quarter.
There was only one bathrobe provided in my room.

Wonderful City Stay
peaceful location original features
The location is peaceful, just opposite the Cathedral. Parking at B4 was easy with a brief walk to the hotel. The building is clean and elegant with original features. I enjoyed a large, very clean room, it had a comfortable bed.
The robe was missing in my room. I called reception twice but it did not arrive for the first night. The tea and coffee were not refreshed for the second night, so no morning brew.

Breakfast had good quality food and a varied choice. The bar offered original choices. I enjoyed a Crunchie bar. It was a Cadbury classic.

Check-in was great and smooth. Staff were friendly and very helpful from reception to the bar. They seemed genuinely happy to work. I found them professional and attentive.

splendid stay
warm welcome early check-in beautiful hotel
The welcome was lovely. a gentleman gave us a warm greeting at the entrance as we went inside. He welcomed us while helping someone with cases. he asked if we needed help with our bags (we were okay). he escorted us to our room in the lift. the receptionist welcomed us with an offer of water. i was happy our room was ready early, around midday.
afternoon tea lacked quality.

spacious desk comfortable seating
my room included a spacious desk area perfect for working. the bathroom had two separate sinks which was useful. i also found the hotel bar offered a wide selection of drinks and comfortable seating.
the in-room tea selection was quite limited, with only a few options available.
